Things you might be wondering

How do I join CMGM?

Membership is invite-only — one of the admins (usually Tim) sends you an email with a link to create your account. If you know someone in the group and want in, just ask them to pass your name along. We're always happy to add people who want to be there.

How do I register for an event?

Once an event is posted, you'll see it on the events page with a button to save your spot. Tap it, confirm, and you're in. You'll get a confirmation email right away and a reminder closer to the date. Registration usually opens about four weeks before tee-off.

How are pairings decided and when are they announced?

Tim reviews everyone's pairing requests and puts groups together about 48 hours before the event. You can request to play with specific people when you register, and we do our best to honor those. Pairings are posted Thursday evening for Saturday events — you'll get an email when they're live.

How do I pay for an event?

We keep it simple — settle up with cash or Venmo at the course on event day. The green fee listed on each event is what you owe; no hidden fees, no processing charges. Tim marks you as paid once you've squared up.

What if I can't make an event after I register?

Life happens — just withdraw your registration as early as you can so someone else can grab the spot. If it's last-minute (within 48 hours), shoot Tim a text so he can adjust pairings. No penalty, no guilt — we just appreciate the heads-up.

Can I bring a guest?

Absolutely. When you register, there's an option to add a guest to your group. Your guest pays the same green fee as everyone else and plays in your foursome. If they have a great time and want to come back, we can talk about getting them a proper invite.

What does the club do with the charity donations?

Every event includes a small charity component — usually a few dollars per player folded into the green fee. At the end of the year, Tim tallies it up and the group votes on where it goes. Past recipients have included local food banks and youth sports programs. It's not a huge amount, but it adds up and it means you're always playing for something beyond bragging rights.
